Maud is a freelance dancer/choreographer originally from Belgium, who is currently working between England and Belgium.
She graduated in 2014 from Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, achieving her BPA degree with a first class honours and the award of Professional Practise. As well been noticed with her final project "Un p'tit bout de femme" that has been performed in Newcastle for The Fresh Festival.
Maud started her professional dance training at the age of 15 in Liège at "Athénée Royal de Fragnée" in collaboration with the "Académie de Musique Grètry". She has always wanted to become an artist and aims to pursue and explore different artistic disciplines. She trained in drama and music, and developed a strong interest in photography and opera.
She is a laureate from "Association des Concerts Permanents" in Drama department “interpretation“ awarded by the city of Liège, Belgium in 2010. She has worked with several choreographers and artistic directors such as Mady Urbain, Angus Balbernie, Hagit Bar, Ruggero Raimondi, Petrika Ionesco, Rod Dixon and Izzy Britain. She aims to work nationally and internationally, continuing to develop as a dance artist with a specific interest in choreography and physical theatre.
